Emirates' Skywards+ program has celebrated one year and, without any announcement or notice, increases the prices of the three subscriptions: Classic, Advanced and Premium
How much does Skywards+ cost
Upon annual payment for one of the three levels you get benefits that, almost, make this project look like Ek's way of selling the elite level of its loyalty program.
As can be seen, the new prices (left) with the original ones (right) mark a upward by almost 20%. Prices have increased, but the services or benefits you get as a subscriber to the program have not changed.
To whom should this subscription be made
This service Is a good thing for those who are planning an award trip with Emirates, thanks to the possibility of getting a 20% discount on award tickets. However, it does not suit those who have to travel with EK on a one-time basis. The 20% bonus of miles is absolutely not worth the expense of this subscription.
Especially not worthwhile if you plan to travel in economy, since the number of points you accumulate is very small and the 20% bonus would only generate a handful of points in the Emirates loyalty program.

Skywards+ Classic at a cost of €400/year provides:
- 20% Skywards bonus miles. With Skywards+, each flight will earn you 20% extra Skywards Miles.

- 20% Skywards bonus miles. With Skywards+, each flight will earn you 20% extra Skywards Miles.
- 20% Discounts on premium class passes.. Get an award class passage by spending 20% Skywards Miles less.
- 20% Discounts on Classic Rewards. Book on emirates.com desktop version and get a discount of 20% on a Classic Rewards flight (usable once only).

How to earn Skywards points in Italy
