Airplanes often take on cargo special, if you have a particular or oversize luggage just report it, and in case it is something delicate that we want to take with us in the cabin, you can buy the ticket apposite.
This time Southwest Airlines' cargo was very peculiar indeed--a T-Rex Toy of a young traveler!
For security issues you know, you can't bring too many luggage on board nor objects pointed or angular that, in the event of turbulence, could end up in someone's eye, injuring them. The toy was quite great and could not go on board, so the little traveler had to leave it at the check-in counter so it could be boarded separately.
The child asked for reassurance about his T-Rex, staff members snapped several photo Of the toy to show that everything was okay:
The ground crew at the destination airport also gave the welcome to the T-Rex reassuring the young traveler that there had been no problems and that the dinosaur had not suffered no damage during transport.
A sympathetic story that makes us understand how caring for the customer is at the center of some airlines, a little healthy positive publicity is what is needed in these times of crisis and problems related to aviation.
Speaking of another story, however, not as fortunate was the cellist Myrna Herzog who a few years ago boarded her viola on an Alitalia flight and, upon baggage claim, had it returned destroyed:
