Boom Technology, the company that wants to revolutionize the world of commercial aviation, was left without engines. The new Concorde, more modern and environmentally sustainable, was to make its debut with the first Supersonic jets in 2025, the service would then start from 2029, but apparently something went wrong.

Boom had an agreement with Rolls-Royce, among the best and most reliable aircraft engines ever, but after working more than two years the company no longer seems to be interested in the project.
"We completed our contract with Boom and delivered several engineering studies for their supersonic Overture program.
After careful consideration, Rolls-Royce has determined that the supersonic commercial aviation market is not currently a priority for the company and, therefore, will not pursue further work on the program at this time. It has been a pleasure working with the Boom team and we wish them every success in the future."
