MSC Seascape arrives: here's Robotron, the first robotic attraction on board a ship

MSC Seascape Will be baptized in New York at a ceremony scheduled for Dec. 7 and will then move to PortMiami to offer year-round incredible Caribbean cruises, including Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve (the private island for the exclusive use of MSC guests), the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Cayman Islands and Jamaica.

MSC Cruises continues its innovation journey, announcing details of new high-tech entertainment experiences aboard the company's new ship, MSC Seascape. When it debuts in December, MSC Seascape will offer innovative experiences for guests of all ages looking for thrills and adrenaline.
The flagship will be ROBOTRON, an exciting attraction that will offer the thrill of a roller coaster at sea, as well as a customized music experience. The ship will also feature two brand new VR experiences and a whole host of other high-tech entertainment designed for all ages.
ROBOTRON will be the first robotic attraction ever to appear on a cruise ship, a state-of-the-art robotic arm with an attached platform that houses three people and flies them to 53 meters high, giving participants a unique view of the landscape as they are moved in different directions and flipped over for a 360-degree turn.
It will offer an experience that guests can customize by choosing lights, colors and music. Sitting on the mixer, guests will be behind the DJ booth., with rhythm and bass displayed in the form of colorful patterns, pulses of light and dancing characters on a giant screen as the robotic arm bounces and twists in time. Participants can also select their own level of thrill, making ROBOTRON a suitable experience for every member of the family.
But it doesn't end there. In addition to ROBOTRON, high-tech entertainment on board the MSC Seascape includes:
- 360-degree VR flight simulator: with all the thrills of an outdoor roller coaster, this immersive simulator is the ultimate virtual roller coaster experience, complete with VR headset and impressive special effects. Guests can choose from several worlds in which to immerse themselves in an unprecedented thrill ride experience.
- Motorcycle VR: Guests who want speed will love the new VR motorcycles from MSC Seascape, where players will feel transported to a real race track, with gusts of wind and splashing water completing the experience.
- MSC Formula Racer: perfect for car racing enthusiasts ready to satisfy their craving for speed, this activity will put guests in the driver's seat for an exciting racing simulation game with realistic effects that will get guests' hearts racing.
- Immersive cinema XD: as soon as guests put on their 3D glasses, they will immerse themselves in alternate worlds where they will fight zombies, skeletons and more. Only one player can be crowned the winner, so everyone will have to demonstrate their shooting skills against their opponents.
