The new Airbus A220 with white "Born To Be Sustainable" livery has just landed at Rome Fiumicino, the same as its big brother the A350 that entered service this summer, a confirmation of ITA Airways' commitment to sustainability.

This is one of four A220s that will go into operation starting in October and will help lead ITA Airways to become Europe's greenest carrier with the 80% of next-generation aircraft in the fleet by 2026.
Airbus A220 is the most efficient single-aisle aircraft small in its category and will enable the company to benefit from a 25% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 per passenger than the previous generation. It is lighter, quieter, with benchmark levels of on-board comfort.
