Judging from the only official photo released in the evening by ITA Airways, but also from other photos that began circulating on the Web soon after EI-HHI, the first A220/300 to enter service for ITA Airways, took off from Naples, the presence of the antenna for on-board wi-fi would seem to be evident.
This could therefore mean that passengers on the Italian national airline will also be able to enjoy internet connectivity on short to medium haul, as has been the case for years on board Lufthansa, British Airways and many other airlines.
At the moment, I should point out, this is my assumption. waiting for ITA Airways to release a Official press release with all the specifications of the new A220, the most modern and efficient model in the fleet at the Italian company.
