Like every month, right on time came Flying Blue loyalty program promotions. The main confirmation concerns what we had already found out the past few weeks, namely that Flying to the U.S. in economy from Europe now has a starting cost of only 11,250 points.
As always, the advertised discount is for the 50% at most, but the highlighted offers only mention the 25%.
As has been the case for a few months now, the offer page presents the routes involved and the minimum number of miles required, but unfortunately the promo only shows the price for the economy ticket. While to unearth tickets in business you have to search for them like truffle dogs. The rewards, however, can be great: tickets often turn up that allow you to fly to the Caribbean at less than 35k points.

I just booked a ticket to try KLM's new premium economy, a product that has just been launched and is currently only available on the Amsterdam/New York route. The ticket only cost me 22,500 FB points. and 135.81 euros in taxes and surcharges.
In conclusion
FB's monthly promos are a must-do, especially because post-pandemic the available tickets are not only for the current month, but can be used to fly until March 2023, just as in this case.
