Interesting news for serial accumulators of Avios points, the loyalty program currency of British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling and Qatar Airways. Soon, by the end of November at the latest, on every car, bus or train ride booked through the Uber app you will be able to earn free points simply by linking your British Airways Executive Club and Uber accounts.
Executive Club members can earn 1 Avios for every £1 spent on any ride, by car, bus or train, booked on the Uber app in the UK. To celebrate the new partnership, members who link their Executive Club and Uber accounts via the Uber app will receive 250 bonus Avios.
Users simply need to link their Executive Club and Uber accounts, by entering their details in the Uber app in the settings section. Avios will automatically appear in each member's account after each Uber ride.
