Accumulating points with Korean
As of November 9, those enrolled in the Volare can accumulate points by flying with South Korea's national airline. All flights operated on Korean Air are qualifying and contribute to the attainment and/or renewal of the membership club.
Accumulation rules vary depending on the company that issued the ticket.

If you fly on a ticket placed by ITA Airways., that is, with a ticket code beginning with 055, the accumulation rules of the Volare program will be followed.

Otherwise, the accumulation will be tied to the miles flown, the class of the ticket and the cabin. In this case, the Volare program will also recognize the expected multiplier based on the elite status held: Plus +10%; Premium +20%; Executive + 30%;
Classes A, O, G, V, E, X do not count toward the accumulation of Volare points.

Obviously on the Korean Air website it is The same news appeared with the accumulation table for members of the Korean carrier's loyalty program.
It is logical to assume that, again starting November 9, it will be possible to see Skypriority privileges recognized for Volare elite status holders, and vice versa, such as access to the Korean Airlines lounge, for example at New York T1 and other airports.
How to accumulate more Flying points
Needless to say, the difference between accumulation based on ticket cost (as with Volare) or based on distance traveled can create a big difference.

Buying the ticket on Korean's site, at a cost of just under €900, would result in - net of the bonus of the level possessed-about 5.5 k points Fly.
