In Europe these things happen of sparse, but in the United States it is much more frequent than people think. In fact, every year many people try to smuggle weapons by hiding them in the most disparate places, a bit like what happens in the famous docu-series "Airport Security" That we have all seen at least once.
This time the attempt is quite bizarre: we are at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood airport and customs officials have discovered a concealed gun... In a whole raw chicken!
The main character is a woman who was traveling to Haiti; the woman was taken into custody and questioned.
Which then I wonder: do they not see Airport Security? How much they break the boxes for the food both cooked but especially raw? If you then hide a gun in it then you are really asking for it!
The gun was cleverly wrapped in del tape from packaging, the Border Patrol shared images of it on social media, sparking hilarity from users who did not spare jokes and double entendres, as did the agents themselves:
"We should be grateful that our officers always work with dedication, especially now as we approach Thanksgiving (Referring to the Thanksgiving stuffed turkey)."
"Sticking a firearm in your bird for the trip is not a good idea, it takes a lot of time."

In 2021, border agents stopped more than 5,000 guns at airport security checks and checkpoints, an average of 15 guns are found per day.
According to TSA's analysis, it is likely that some guns are escaped to the controls and that they may have even been transported to plane hidden in luggage.
In short, a rather bizarre story but one that does reflect and raises the issue of too much freedom by the United States in circulating firearms within the country.
