There is an air of renewal at Hilton. In fact, the hotel chain has announced a major change related to as many as 5400 hotels in the United States. Doors open to the exercise bike Peloton. Outside the U.S. this name may not say much. It is an American company that specializes in exercise equipment (over time it has also started a remote training support service). Among its flagship products are exercise bikes, and it is on these that Hilton will focus.

Upgrade work that should be completed by the end of 2022. It cannot be ruled out that the collaboration may also bring other equipment, such as treadmills and rowing machines, to private hotel gyms. Clients will also be able to request private training sessions.
Hilton: Peloton arrives
Hilton provided a bit of detail on the Peloton exercise bikes featured in its U.S. hotel facilities. All pedals are double-sided, which means you can wear any type of shoe you want. From regular running shoes to those with cleats, specifically for those who cycle and want to bring their own pair from home.
How did this project come about? It all began with a survey conducted by Hilton. The result clearly showed that the vast majority, well 98%, of the respondents, prioritize guaranteed wellness activities within hotel facilities. The subjects in question were all strictly American travelers. In fact, the profile outlined is that of a customer base living in the US. The market survey was also conducted by analyzing the profiles of users subscribed to the Peloton app. 90% of respondents said they were more likely to stay in a hotel with an exercise bike available.
As mentioned, to date the agreement with Hilton is only valid in the United States. In the coming years, however, it may become a reality in Europe as well and beyond. Training and wellness enthusiasts will have to stay tuned and hope for the app's big leap.
