Marriott Bonvoy, the loyalty program of the hotel chain of the same name, is usually more stingy in its offerings than its competitor Hilton Honors. However, it has a peculiarity that HH does not have: Sends personalized offers to members.
My first personalized offer
Yesterday I received by email my first personalized offer.: as usual, it must be activated to be exploited. Also is in addition to already active promos And is therefore cumulative.
The offer provides that for each stay, of two nights and more, until 01/31/2023, I can accumulate double points. To check if you have any offers to activate, just go to the app or the website in the appropriate offer section.
*A "stay" is defined as one or more consecutive nights spent in the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity, on any eligible points-based rate ("Qualifying Rate"). Book stays directly through Marriott Channels to participate in the promotion.
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, but online I saw a much more interesting target offer, at least for me, which is one that allows you to accumulate double qualifying nights for 3 months from the time of activation.
Given that nights, in addition to the requirement for status, in the Bonvoy program are not rollovers (as is the case with Hilton Honors) having this offer in early 2023 would have helped me try to renew the status next year as well.
In conclusion
These offers have always been chimeras for me, perhaps after concentrating almost all my stays in Marriott this year I was rewarded. It's just too bad I didn't get it until today lately. I have done a lot of stays in Marriott hotels. in Italy and around the world.
