The round-the-world ticket is a truly unique experience, something that stays inside forever. It does not matter if it is done in 5 days, as I did this summer, or in 3 months is a journey that at its core encompasses dozens of journeys.

The ticket must be created with only Star Alliance carriers, and in this example you will fly: Lufthansa, United, Air New Zealand, and All Nippon Airlines. With the New Zealand carrier you will be flying on the time machine since you will be jumping forward 24 hours.
The price is really competitive for an all economy PNR, with the possibility of then making individual upgrades as I did both to aboard Lufthansa's 747/8 and the Air New Zealand's Dreamliner.
