The best first-class cabin

Here there is little to discuss, this year I flew in "first" with British Airways, Air France e Singapore Airlines. By far the best cabin today is that of the Asian carrier.
The suite although single version really made me feel like a king, or maybe it would be better to say an interloper since I paid for the ticket with a handful of Krisflyer points..

There are 6 suites on board the A380s, 4 of these can become two double rooms. The service is top-notch, and although there is no shower found aboard Emirates' double-decker planes the rest is really top-notch.
The best first-class service
There is no match here, Premiere beats the competition, no carrier in the world manages to treat its most exclusive passengers this way.
From the limousine that waits under the plane, to the exclusive lounge, to the in-flight service that makes the passenger feel like the guest of a 7-star hotel. Sure booking this ticket with points has become even more difficult , but the reward will be commensurate with the effort and the significant cost in terms of points.
The best business class cabin
This year I have traveled on a lot of airlines, not Qatar, and therefore I cannot comment firsthand on the Qsuite I am planning for next year.
The business class seat on Singapore Airlines' A350
At present, the best seat remains the one aboard theSingapore Airlines' A350, not only for the chair which is huge, but for the service provided starting with book the cook.
The best IFE
A lot of time is spent on board airplanes, and the best way not to get bored is to have a large screen, lots of content, and fast wifi.
The victory goes to American Airlines and the offer on board its A321T, or single-aisle aircraft used for flights between the two American coasts.
On board you can watch Apple TV+, HBO, Showtime, live TV channels, and an endless list of content. If you don't want to use the seat screen you can simply connect your computer (or tablet) to the plane's wi-fi and watch whatever you want. And of course this is for everyone from economy to first.
The best premium economy
2022 is the boom year for premium economy. Starting with Emirates this cabin has been completely rethought and is now a mature product.
In waiting to try EK's on board the A380s the TFCbest award is definitely from KLM.
Seat, IFE, catering and service do not make business class regret at all, indeed. On a flight of less than 7 hours, it is absolutely preferable to business class, although doing so you will not receive the iconic KLM cottage.
The best economy class
I also flew a lot in economy in 2022. From Air New Zealand a Turkish Airlines , but the best experience I had was in ITA Airways comfort seats.
ITA Airways' new offering is a major step up from what the old Alitalia offered. The A350 is the best airplane around, and now even ITA is offering proper treatment for passengers sitting in the back rows. For a handful of euros I recommend the Comfort Economy seats that give a few extra inches of legroom.
The worst of 2022
The title is also an ex aequo because both companies set up their business class with the worst possible configuration.
I'm talking about Virgin Atlantic and of Air New Zealand which share what I call the sardine can configuration. The only seat where you have your back to the window the whole trip.
2023
The year that is about to begin will be very interesting for the aviation world and also for Italy. First of all, the future of ITA Airways will be known and we will also see the debut in the blue livery of the new A330/900neo and A321s as well which will be the first single-aisle aircraft to be outfitted with a true business class cabin. My hunt for tickets aboard the A380 will continue.. I have British Airways, Qatar and Emirates on my schedule, and now the following has been added to the wish list. Etihad.
In addition to the A380, I am curious to try for the first time Qatar's Qsuite, La Compagnie's "all business" airline, Emirates' first class "gamechanger," and many new cabins that will come into service starting with the new Air France and KLM offerings.
