From a lounge perspective, London Heathrow terminal 3 is definitely the most diverse terminal and interesting. Inside are two gems: Europe's only Centurion lounge and the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse which from next January will be open to all Skyteam passengers.

Access

This Aspire is one of two options accessible thanks to the Priority Pass card, the other is the N1 Lounge that we have reviewed in the past.

Since KLM and Air France moved flights to T3. has also become the flagship lounge for these two companies. It is a pity that they did not instead sign an agreement with Virgin allowing access to the most exclusive lounge among those in London along with BA's Concorde Room, but as mentioned this "flaw" will disappear with Virgin Atlantic's permanent entry into Skyteam

Location

It is located in the connecting tunnel between the main terminal area and gates 1/10, those also used by Emirates. However, being close to the duty free area and the central plaza of T3, it is easily accessible and one moves quickly to all the gates.

The hall

The lounge is small, significantly smaller than the N1. I imagine that it will also often be full, given the high number of international passengers at this terminal, although for Amex Platinum holders, the obvious choice is the beautiful Centurion Lounge.

In fact it is a small open space, with several types of seating. There are two beautiful huge tables in the center of the room, with conveniently placed power outlets so that you can work on your PC without problems.

Near the small windows are two-seater sofas that make a Starbucks effect, while on the opposite side, along the wall, mixed restaurant-type seating is placed.

There is a Quiet Area at the back, although the lounge is so small that there is very little quiet.

The buffet is parallel to the bar counter. The food offerings are quite varied and, for such a lounge, more than sufficient.

The bar offers a decent selection of drinks. There is a drink tap and a hot drink machine.

It is then possible to order cocktails or wine directly at the bar counter.

There are showers and there is wi-fi, which is the bare minimum one would ask of such a lounge.

In conclusion

A lounge where you can spend 30 minutes, go to the bathroom, have a drink and a bite to eat, and then board your flight. Full C-suite.

The verdict
Probably at any other airport in the world it would have at least half a point higher in the rating, here the competition is fierce. At T3 there are 2 independent lounges, so there is not much choice. Already getting in is an achievement
