Air France and KLM discount award tickets to fly to the Caribbean, the U.S. and Africa

Like every beginning of the month, the first Flying Blue offers have arrived to redeem award tickets at a discount up to 50%.

What are Flying Blue offers

Each month the Air France and KLM loyalty program releases a list of destinations that can be booked with points at a reduced cost, up to 50%. In past promotions real gems have been released, such as tickets to fly to Martinique in business for less than 35k points, while last month award tickets to go business class in North America could be redeemed for less than 30K points.

The rules are still the same you have to book by the end of January to fly by the end of June.

Flying Blue offers for January 23

There are 19 destinations on the medium-haul network to fly from Italy to the AF/KL network from just over 4,000 Flying Blue points.

In contrast, on long-haul there are 10 destinations and this month there is a real change with the inclusion of recently unseen destinations, such as the Caribbean (Aruba, St Maarten, Cayenne) Africa (Lome, Ouagadougou) or Dammam in the Middle East.

As always, however, it is not specified whether the discount is in economy or business, and this month there appear to be seats on sale in premium classes.
