In the past few days Hilton Honors, the loyalty program of the hotel chain of the same name, has launched a "Tier last call" promotion for registered users in China. A correct decision when one considers that in fact residents of the Great Wall nation. Have been isolated from the rest of the world for over 3 years.
A way-after office renewals-to allow users in that market to be able to maintain status for another 12 months with very little effort.
The surprise, however, is that a few days later this promotion appeared to many other users (not all of them). More importantly, the terms and conditions of the offer have changed and now there is no longer a limitation for only registered users with an address in China, Macau or Hong Kong.
I do not see it among the offers available in my profile, but it is also true that having maintained my Diamond status it would not make any sense to have access to this promotion.
Tier Last Call offer details
Initially, eligible members could maintain Gold or Diamond status, until the end of January 2024, simply by one stay by March 31. Now, however, the terms and conditions have changed and simply read: "Eligible members must complete stay requirements to maintain their current elite level status. Example: complete 2 stays to maintain Gold status."
As always, you must register to trigger the offer, regardless of when the reservation was made, all registered guests with nights completed within the promotion period will count toward the promotion.
