Ryanair unveils 12 new routes to Bergamo and Malpensa for summer 2023
Rijeka, Zadar, Zante, Belfast, Brno and Düsseldorf among new destinations. Also ready are two new planes and 100 new jobs in Milan

Ryanair announced its operational for summer 2023 to/from its 2 bases in Milan (Bergamo and Malpensa) with 12 new routes to-to name a few-Flume, Zadar, Zante, Belfast, Brno, and Düsseldorf. Ryanair will base two new aircraft in Milan (30 in total) for summer 2023,
Ryanair's 2023 operations to Milan will include:
- 2 new aircraft based (30 in total)
- $3 billion investment in Milan's 2 airports
- 12 new routes including Belfast, Iasi, Rijeka, Zadar and Zakynthos (140 total routes)
- Increased frequencies on 54 routes to Belgium, Croatia, Malta, Poland, Spain, UK and domestics
Ryanair Will operate more than 2,000 weekly flights to/from Milan in summer 2023 (+25% growth over S19), contributing to the growth of tourism inbound and employment. This growth is supported by theRyanair's $3 billion investment in Bergamo and Malpensa airports, with 30 aircraft based, carrying 4% more passengers than pre-Covid.

"In order to grow tourism in Italy in 2023," reads a note. Ryanair is still calling on the new prime minister and his government to abolish the municipal surtax for all Italian airports and enable Ryanair to offer even more growth, tourism and jobs in Italy in 2023″.
