In the past week, just ahead of the fateful date of Jan. 8, the executive changed the entry rules twice. The one just announced is the third decree that replaces previous ones by taking effect immediately.

With this decision the doors are once again open to all passengers, including the Chinese, with the minor inconvenience-only for those heading to China and very few other destinations that still require the pre-departure buffer-of having medical insurance.
