ITA Airways today signed an important Memorandum of Understanding with the Ferrovie dello Stato Group in order to create increasingly effective multimodal services between air and rail, with the aim of realizing a joint offering for theOne-time purchase of air and rail tickets and define combined loyalty programs.
The MoU between ITA Airways and the FS Group also forms the basis for realizing the following. Commercial and operational partnerships designed to develop a multimodal mobility offering, which can effectively meet the needs of tourism and business demand and realize an agile and convenient "end-to-end" travel experience, with the aim of implementing common digital platforms.
With this agreement, ITA Airways once again demonstrates its commitment to pursuing an intermodality-oriented future to ensure connectivity between Italian territories, especially for an Airline operating with a hub and spoke model.
The MoU signed today represents a further step in support of the modernization process of the entire country's mobility and reflects the main pillars on which ITA Airways' business is based: sustainability, innovation and customer-centricity, with an increasingly dedicated offering.
