Ryanair announces two new routes from Alghero for summer 2023

Ryanair announced its own operational from Alghero for summer 2023, which provides 2 new routes to Billund e Venice, as well as theIncreased frequencies on 3 popular routes: Bari, Bratislava and Milan.

Ryanair's operation from Alghero for summer 2023 includes:

• 22 routes, including 2 new ones to Billund and Venice 
• Increased frequencies on 3 popular routes - Bari, Bratislava and Milan 
• Up to 40 flights per week to Milan 
• +130% growth compared to pre-Covid 
• 850,000 pax p.a. 
• More than 650 jobs

While Ryanair will carry over 850,000 passengers to/from Alghero this year (+85% vs. pre Covid), we are urging the Italian government and regional council to immediately eliminate the excessive €6.50 per departing passenger tax and to redesign the outdated territorial continuity route system. This will enable Ryanair to provide up to 1 million additional inbound tourists per year (+50% growth) generating over €1 billion in additional tourism spending in Sardinia over the next 5 years with more connectivity, domestic and international tourism year round from major inbound markets such as Germany, France, UK, Nordic countries, while supporting 1,500 additional jobs on the island.  To celebrate our new operation from Alghero for the summer of 2023, we are launching a special promotion, with fares starting at only €29.99 for travel between April and October 2023, which must be booked by midnight Feb. 17 only on Ryanair.com."

Ryanair, which recently announced several new features on Rimini, Cagliari, Bari, Perugia e Turin Will operate up to 170 flights per week.
