Singapore Airlines will reactivate its direct connection from Barcelona on July 3. to Singapore. This route had been paused during the pandemic and replaced by a volo continuing from Milan Malpensa.
The flight operated under fifth freedom will not cease with the reopening of the connection, at Unlike what happened with the Rome Copenhagen flight, which had been cancelled with the very resumption of the direct connection.
The decision of the city/state's flag carrier is to operate two weekly connections from Barcelona and maintain on the other 5 days of the week the connection Barcelona/Milan with continuation to/from Singapore. This flight has been operated continuously since the beginning of January 2022.
This leaves Italian travelers with the option of flying between the two cities aboard the A350, a decidedly different product than what carriers operating the same route offer.
Although the flight is only 90 minutes, full service is offered to all passengers in all three travel classes, economy, premium economy and business.

Evidently the route between Milan and Barcelona aboard Singapore must be popular enough for the company to maintain the connection, at least, through the summer season. Prices are higher than average, but the two flights operated aboard a Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 with this A350 are incomparable.
