The Hilton Honors Program
The Hilton Honors loyalty program has a unique feature in the landscape of loyalty programs. It is the only one that allows you to combine points with family and friends without paying a fee. There are two ways to do this: Transfer Hilton points to another person or by merging profiles with each other.

How to accumulate Hilton Honors points
Points can be earned by staying at the group's hotels around the world, taking advantage of bonuses and promotions, and even traveling in Lyft cars. The accumulated points can be used to stay in Bali with only 5,000 points per night or in the Maldives at more than 100 thousand points per night.
Transferring Hilton points to another person
Hilton Honors members can Transfer points to another member's account at a 1:1 ratio, up to six times per calendar year. The process is rapid. To do so one must:
- Access the Hilton Honors Profile
- Enter the Points menu
- Click on "Transfer Points."
- On the next page enter the number of points you wish to transfer, the recipient's name, Hilton Honors number, and e-mail address.
The operation is completed in a maximum of a few hours, but it is usually minutes
Create a unique piggy bank with other users
Pooling points is a bit more complicated than simply transferring them, but it is still not difficult. It works well when members do not have enough points individually to redeem for free nights, but they do when they combine points together.
How to group Hilton points:
- First, you need to identify the captain, that is, who will accumulate the points in his or her account. Needless to say, the captain must be a person of trust and solid morals and the user with the highest status
- The captain invites group members to participate in the "pool," the group can contain a minimum of 2 up to a maximum of 11 users, including the captain.
- People invited to join the group must accept and then transfer points from the same invitation email
- The pool leader can request points from each person in the pool, but keep in mind that transfers are unidirectional for the leader:

Other rules for collecting Hilton points
The general rules
- Points must be transferred in increments of 1,000, from a minimum of 1,000 points to a maximum of 500,000 points.
- Between pooling and 1:1 transfers, a Hilton Honors member can receive a total of up to 2 million points per year, but can only send up to 500,000 points per calendar year.
- Honors members can transfer points from their account to another member's account on a 1:1 basis up to six times per calendar year and also transfer via point collection up to six times per calendar year.
- All active Hilton Honors members can group, transfer or receive points, provided that their account has been open for at least 30 days and at least one activity has been performed on the account.
- If the account is more than 90 days old, Hilton Honors members can pool, transfer or receive points regardless of account activity. In all cases, accounts must have a minimum balance of 1,000 points to participate in the point pool.
