After the launch of the Milan Malpensa-New York route. occurred on April 15 last year, they were 14.382 i passengers who chose to fly with the French carrier to reach the Big Apple from Milan immersed in the comfort of the Airbus A321neo operating on this route (figure calculated as of December 31).
Summer proved to be the most prosperous season, with a noteworthy performance. In June, July and August 2022, in fact, the load factor reached 77% highlighting the appeal not only of the destination but also of the on-board offerings, characterized by exclusive service, excellent culinary offerings and the many La Compagnie signature pluses.
To seal the new connection between Italy and the States last year and to make its offer even more personalized, there were several initiatives that brought on board great excellences of the Bel Paese in different sectors. These included interesting collaborations with leading Italian starred chefs, including Lorenzo Cogo, Floriano Pellegrino and Isabella Potì, who left their mark by signing some of the recipes on the onboard menu with gourmet proposals of different inspirations, from the appetizer to the main course to dessert.
Market response to this new and innovative service (it is the only scheduled airline to operate exclusively a business class) has also been very positive. According to a satisfaction questionnaire conducted between September and December 2022 by the airline on a sample of Italian customers following their travel experience, an indicator score of the Global flight satisfaction of 8.6/10.

Buoyed by the success it reported in 2022, the year that has just begun starts out full of expectations and with a big growth plan on the horizon. The Compagnie is, in fact, currently working on theacquisition of new aircraft Within its fleet in order to consolidate and accelerate its development starting in 2024.
