All that was missing was the date, now there is also the date: next March 2, Virgin Atlantic will become a full member of the Skyteam alliance, becoming the 19th member of the youngest of the aviation alliances, The one of which ITA Airways is also (and still is) part of. The period was known the official date declared it the CEO Shai Weiss to TPG.

Unfortunately, Passengers departing from London's T3 aboard Skyteam flights will not have access to the Clubhouse, which in fact Will remain outside the Skyteam agreements and the same should happen to the Arrival Lounge always in London, while it is possible that lounges in the U.S. will open their doors to Elite+ passengers.
Skyteam remains the weakest alliance of the three
In recent years, the youngest alliance of the three lost first China Southern, which came out of membership in 2019. The outbreak of the war in Ukraine led to the exclusion of Aeroflot. While the Alitalia's bankruptcy with the birth of ITA Airways was not an equal replacement.
