Volotea announces 2022 results: +53% compared to 2021 and 4 million passengers
Last year the airline hit the ground running in Italy with a total offering of 169 routes, 88 of them exclusive. Here are the results in 2022 on Venice, Naples, Verona and Palermo

The low-cost airline has hit the ground running in Italy with A total supply of 4.8 million seats for sale, amounting to an increase of 21% over 2019 and 53% over 2021. In 2022 operated about 28 thousand flights transporting, nationwide, 4 million passengers, up 54% from 2.6 million in the previous year.
During 2022, The company's strategy focused on a predominantly domestic offering (equal to the 72% of its connections) and with a specific focus on connections to and from the islands (83% of the total offer). Also in 2022, Volotea has announced the opening of its new base in Florence.
