If you are flying from Buenos Aires with ITA Airways, or with other companies, you will be spoiled for choice on which lounge to use at this airport.
Location
In this article:
This Centurion is located in front of the Aerolinas Argentinas lounge., in general all lounges are located in the corridor connecting the two terminals of the Argentine capital's airport.
Access
Did you get your flight cancelled, miss your connection, land late?
You could get up to 600€ compensation per person
The rules of access to Centurion Are simple and are always the same. Access free of charge for all holders of platinum cards or higher, with a guest. The guest must not travel on the same flight or in a particular cabin.
The lounge
Compared to the lounge in São Paulo, Brazil. this room looks more like other Centurions around the world.
It does not have a direct runway overlook, but still there is a lot of light coming in partly because the wall facing the terminal is all glass.
Unmissable is the green wall that welcomes guests to these lounges in all its locations.
The decor as mentioned is what identifies the latest Centurion, with television set into the wall with fake suitcases as in London, New York and other recent openings.
The lounge is very large, much more than the Star Alliance hall which is just ahead, different seating, and although it is an open space, the partitions manage to divide the lounge into a series of smaller, less noisy rooms.
The refreshment area also has very nice decor, with classic bar seating, but there is also a high table with power outlets.
There is also a small space reserved for Centurion clients., a constant in all lounges, in this one we say it is the one most sacrificed.
And finally, a small long and narrow space has been carved out for a small play area for children.
Food & Beverage
Hidden along the entrance corridor are frigs and islands dedicated to beverages, all very elegant.
Then there is an island with a buffet, but it had little offer since the service is at the table. You read the QR and order what you want from the menu.
On the other hand, however, there was also the ice cream refrigerator!!!
Inevitable bar, with bartender. No champagne, but a wide range of super spirits.
In conclusion
I just can't understand why Amex hasn't opened a few Centurions in continental Europe yet, it would be quite a breath of fresh air. This is not out of partisanship, but for example at a Malpensa airport. where there are lots of passengers and few lounges would be a really good solution, maybe take directly SEA's newly opened lounge.
