The travel world still has covid-related restrictions in place, first among them The United States, which still requires tourists to be fully vaccinated in order to board a flight to the States. It is not only the U.S. that has restrictions, but also other countries in spots.
For example, in recent days it was the South Korea to have suspended the request for K-eta, established precisely at the reopening of the borders.
Goodbye restrictions in Japan
Starting from next May 8 all restrictions and requirements imposed by the Japanese government upon reopening the borders will cease. This will result in a return to pre-pandemic travel arrangements, thus pre-boarding vaccination certifications and/or swabs will cease to be required.
Italian passport holders may enter with a visa upon arrival without any formality which allows for a stay of up to 90 days.
It is not yet clear whether the need to register on the Visit Japan online platform If so, it will be a quick compilation of the two fields related to Travel details and travel documents.
