The heart of the project will be Level 8, or the connecting plate that will also house many of the public spaces of the two facilities. The Moxy will be slightly larger, also accomplice to a smaller square footage of rooms, will have 380 rooms while it will be "only" 347 at the AC Hotel.

"By integrating the 2 hotels, plus Level 8, into a single building, we are creating a myriad of experiences never before offered in Los Angeles and keeping everything affordable," said Mitchell Hochberg, president of real estate developer Lightstone who was responsible for 6 other Moxies in New York and South Beach.
