Qatar Airways opens new lounge overlooking Doha's "The Orchard"

The best airline in the world opened the new Al Mourjan Business Lounge At the Hamad International Airport called "The Garden."

The lounge overlooks "The ORCHARD," the recent extension to Doha Airport inaugurated just before the World Cup of soccer. A garden, under a steel dome, with hundreds of plants and animals inside-a space that offers passengers a completely different environment in which to wait for their flight.

Thanks to The Orchard Doha hopes to once again snatch up the Singapore the title of the world's best airport.

The new lounge

Located in the northern expansion of Hamad International Airport, Al Mourjan Business Lounge - The Garden is set to captivate passengers with its luxurious facilities and serves as an extension of the iconic Al Mourjan Business Lounge - South, awarded Best Business Class Lounge Dining by the Skytrax Airline Ratings Awards.

Together, both lounges can accommodate up to 1,600 passengers at once, offering luxury amenities that include showers, changing rooms, business areas, and spaces to relax in the northern and southern parts of the Qatari state.

The lounge will be a kind of exclusive sanctuary for Qatar Airways premium passengers, The Garden covers an area of 7,390 square meters and can accommodate up to 707 passengers.

Who can access this lounge

Accessible to passengers traveling in the premium cabin, the new lounge offers a range of services to meet the needs of business, leisure, and family travelers with numerous dining options, relaxation rooms, a fitness room, pedicure and manicure stations, spa facilities, private dedicated space rooms, recreation areas, and a daycare center. Available exclusively to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers. 

For all other passengers, a series of new lounges have been opened based on status and the airline you fly with from Doha.

The lounge has been influenced by modern aesthetics that incorporate natural light into its distinct design, offering passengers an immersive experience that reflects The ORCHARD below.
