Volotea inaugurates Olbia-Lille connection

After announcing a few months ago the New routes to Madrid and Nice, Volotea warms up its engines and sets course for France. The inaugural Olbia-Lille flight departed on Friday, April 21: The route has 2 weekly frequencies, every Tuesday and Friday.

The low-cost company also reinstated last April 14, the connections at the time of Nantes (2 weekly frequencies, every Tuesday and Friday). The carrier takes to the runway in Olbia with a range of 28 connections, ranking first in terms of number of connected destinations, 14 in Italy and 14 abroad, amounting to a total offer of about 1.1 million seats for sale. Finally, also in Olbia, for Summer 23 the Volotea fleet strengthens its presence, increasing from 2 to 3 180-seat Airbus 320 aircraft.
Volotea thus reconfirms its investment at the airport: In addition to the new connection to Lille, Costa Smeralda will open several routes in late May in anticipation of the 2023 summer vacations to France and Spain. A total of 10 new routes have been launched by the carrier locally: Lille, Barcelona, Madrid, Marseille, Paris Orly, Toulouse, Bilbao, Florence, Valencia and Nice. With this incredibly rich schedule, passengers will be spoiled for choice in planning their vacations, flying in total comfort.
