The celebration of the soccer championship title obtained by the S.S.C. Naples also saw a special aerial celebration. On May 9, in fact, a small plane "drew" the team logo newly crowned champion of Italy in the skies over the Bay of Naples.
The trail left by the aircraft, a Tecnam P2008JC, is not clearly seen by the naked eye; but it is widely visible by systems and applications that detect air traffic and routes.
The pilot-anonymous to this day-took off from the runway of the Capua aeroclub (in the province of Caserta) and flew over the Gulf of Naples, where he "drew" the circle with the N identifying the soccer team. The plane took off at 3:02 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, to land at 4:40 p.m.
The fan-pilot then employed 1 hour 38 minutes, flying at an altitude of 250/300 meters, to chart the spectacular course, captured on social media by the specialized website FlightRadar24 (which monitors the flights of all aircraft globally) .
The plane that drew the Naples crest is a Tecnam P-2008JC, high-wing, single-engine aircraft and two-seater built in Italy, from Tecnam Flight Academy. It has an autotomy of 1,065 kilometers and reaches vmaximum speed of 215 km/h.
The ease of piloting and reliability make this aircraft one of the first choices for pilot training, being used frequently in flight schools.
