Air Tahiti Nui reopens flight from Tokyo-Narita, Polynesia flight returns in October

Tahiti, One of the most beautiful islands in French Polynesia, after several months of waiting will be connected again with a direct flight between Tokyo-Narita and Tahiti-Faa'a Airport.
Air Tahiti Nui had decided in November 2022 to postpone this reopening in 'anticipation of more favorable market conditions. After more than two years of border closures in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was indeed necessary to give the Japanese tourism industry time to reorganize and its customers time to rediscover the taste of travel.
Having also been confirmed by the Japanese government last April the lifting of all health restrictions related to the to COVID, all travelers can now better appreciate the resumption of service.
Polynesia is one of the most difficult destinations to reach from Europe, Impossible to fly nonstop except from Paris, where, however, Air Thaiti Nui's flight makes a technical stopover in Seattle before departing to its final destination.
In the best-case scenario, flying to Papeete means. Spend more than 24 hours sitting on an airplane. That is why this destination is typically added to trips that involve going through Los Angeles, Australia, and precisely Japan.
Starting October 30, 2023, Air Tahiti Nui's twice-weekly flight schedule will be as follows:
