There is nothing better than spending 24 hours aboard Emirates First Class eating caviar and drinking Dom Perignon

I have often written about tickets bought in the midst of a pandemic, only because I was playing on the very high possibility of changes/deletions so that I could reschedule the trip at a better time. Thanks to this technique I went to Hawaii in business class For less than 1,000 euros, I did a mileagerun in Brazil, e I also went around the world For less than 700 pounds.

This plane ticket is the last one standing, and tomorrow we leave for the big trip.
7 first-class tickets
When I booked the ticket we were in the middle of the second wave, it was December 27, 2020! I had also published the news of this incredible tariff to book 7 first-class routes with Emirates for less than €250 each way.
Did you get your flight cancelled, miss your connection, land late?
You could get up to 600€ compensation per person
When I booked the two tickets the initial itinerary was to take a really crazy ride, but it was a unique opportunity to Flying nearly 24 hours aboard first class on the A380 at a ridiculous price and to take advantage of all the benefits possible with such a ticket.
Today the same itinerary costs just under 15 thousand euros, which is insane.
Of course, I would never have booked such a ticket at this price, but for a little more than €1,500 it's a whole different story. Today at that amount, you would not even cover the fees of the eventual prize ticket to which I should have added several hundred thousand Skywards points. It will be A unique chance to experience all the different types of first class that Emirates offers in one fell swoop.
There could be no better way to tell about TFC everything, but everything, What Emirates offers the most exclusive passengers, not to mention that these chairs are very easy to reserve using dots as we have told many times before.
The original itinerary
Departing and arriving from Bangkok, flying to Hong Kong and back to Dubai with a quick hop to Muscat in Oman. This is the initial itinerary, slightly different than the one starting tomorrow.
Almost three years have passed since the day of the reservation, the initial trip planned to fly in September 2021, we will eventually leave on June 21, 2023.
My strategy in the covid period was somewhere between gambling and "you always win". The reason was very simple: companies had lowered prices in order to sell tickets and the cancellation/passenger protection policies were lax as never before.
I thus bought dozens of tickets with absurd itineraries, multi-stops and the like only counting on the very high probability that one route would be changed/canceled invalidating the entire itinerary.
That's exactly what happened with this ticket. In March 2021, we received notification of the cancellation of a flight and the downgrading of a route. Thus, thanks to EK's flexible policies, we were able not only to reschedule to a new date, but also to change the itinerary at will. Indeed, EK's flexibility rules allowed us to choose a departure and arrival airport, with only one constraint: the departure/arrival area had to remain the same.
The final itinerary
Since the day of booking this trip has been rescheduled 4 times and twice I have changed the itinerary. Now the final tour will be as follows: Departure from Tokyo aboard the "game changer" that is Emirates' "secret" first class, available only on a small number of 777/300s to Dubai, the longest route on which this cabin can be found.
We will stay nearly 24 hours at Emirates' expense, thanks to the Dubai Connect service that allows passengers who have a stopover of more than 8 hours to request, free of charge, to be accommodated in a hotel. We will have lunch with friends in the Dubai Marina area and towards evening the Emirates chauffeur will pick us up to take us to the airport.
Here we will have dinner in the first-class lounge and then board the 777/300 to embark on the world's shortest route operated by Emirates, in first class of course.
In Oman we will spend two nights at the W Muscat, a luxury Marriott group sign, where I booked a basic room taking advantage of a handful of Bonvoy points and Where I also used two SNAs And I just received confirmation of promotion to Marvelous Suite.
We will depart Muscat towards Dubai, where we will stay a couple of nights on the palm in a Hilton group property.
Always pampered by Emirates chauffeur We will return to the airport and after dinner board the A380 to fly to Hong Kong, but not on the direct flight. We will take advantage of the fifth freedom route that passes through Bangkok, a way to spend an extra 4 hours aboard the most iconic aircraft in the Emirates fleet.
I will be returning to Hong Kong for the first time post covid and am very much looking forward to seeing one of the most beautiful and interesting Asian cities. We will be staying in a couple of different establishments here, of course you will find all the reviews on our website.
The last leg will be, again aboard the A380 from Hong Kong to Bangkok, the shortest route among those now operated on the A380. Unfortunately, in this case we will not be able to take advantage of the chauffeur, but otherwise everything is included in the ticket. From Dom Perignon, to caviar, from the shower to all the pampering provided for passengers in Emirates' most exclusive class.
Approach flight with Lufthansa
To travel to Japan and back from Thailand, I chose to travel with Lufthansa and Swiss. Currently, unless upgraded, the outward journey will be in economy and the return to premium economy, obviously always with a view to Do as many reviews as possible for my youtube channel.
In conclusion
To think of doing a multi-trip itinerary with Emirates of this kind is pretty crazy, but likewise it would have been crazy to let this opportunity slip away. We stuck a few days in Tokyo and a couple of days in Bangkok and it turned out to be one heck of a vacation.
