Direct connection from Venice to Iceland kicks off
Recently PLAY was named best low-cost airline for Northern Europe at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards.

PLAY, an Icelandic low-cost airline, today launched a connection from Marco Polo Airport in Venice at Keflavík Airport in Reykjavík, in Iceland, operational twice a week throughout the summer.

The new connection will allow Italian tourists to visit a unique country from the spectacular nature, making it-partly due to the hours of daylight and midnight sunshine-an exotic summer destination. Conversely, Icelandic tourists can take advantage of the flight to discover Venice, the shores, the mountains, and the cultural and scenic beauty of the Veneto region.
