While Lufthansa is considering bringing back the brand, and the Alitali liverya, in service (although actually. there are still quite a few planes traveling around the world with the historic livery of the former Italian flag carrier), there is to record how the old Millemiglia loyalty program is still alive and well.

What to do with the points
If the Flying program does not have an award chart, Mymiglia not only allows you to accumulate points by flying, but also use the points to book award tickets. It is possible convert the miles available in miles Flying Blue, the loyalty program of Air France and KLM, benefiting from this conversion: 4 miles = 1 mile Flying Blue.
You can convert by single transaction from a minimum of 8,500 miles(equal to 2,125 Flying Blue miles) up to a maximum of 250,000 miles (equal to 62,500 Flying Blue miles) per calendar year.
How to convert points between the two programs
To request conversion you must indicate the Flying Blue program identification code on which to credit the miles.
To request conversion write, using the e-mail registered in your personal MilleMiglia or BusinessConnect profile, to MMrewardFlyingBlue@mymiglia.com. Conversion will take up to 10 business days; an e-mail will confirm credit.
In conclusion
Of course the conversion is bad, but considering that before with 250k MM points one would collect the pittance of a little over 700€ in vouchers to spend on Lastminute. By moving the same points to Flying Blue it is possible to arrive at also detach a round-trip ticket in premium economy to fly to the U.S. from Italy.
