Usually when people talk about award tickets and award charts they talk about devaluation of loyalty program points, tax increases and other bad news. Today, however, is that one day in a million when we talk about cost-cutting.
Qatar cuts 60%'s award chart partner

The news came to me by email and, I must admit, I hadn't given it much thought simply because I don't believe in fairy tales and always think of the catch in small print.
Instead, this is not the case. Qatar has updated the award table for booking flights with partner airlines and the result is a reduction of 60%,: unheard of stuff. Thanks to this cut, avios are worth even more.
In recent years, the loyalty program Privilege Club has improved so much to the point of adopting Avios as currency and To the interchange of points with British Airways..
Until now, Qatar points were the best to book a ticket on board the Qsuite, the best business class seat in the world, but they were among the worst when it came to booking tickets with partner companies.
Now things are set to change for the better with the ability to use Qatar miles for partners as well at a very competitive price, even better than what BA offers on oneWorld partners.
