When I published the article in recent days about the possibilities of book award tickets with ITA Airways, using Virgin Atlantic's Flying Club loyalty program, I discovered that in general silence Air Europa had been added to the list of partner companies.
At present, there are only 3 partner companies that have signed an agreement with ITA: Korean, Virgin Atlantic And precisely Air Europa.
Accumulating points flying Air Europa
If the ticket is sold by ITA the distance flown aboard the Spanish company's planes will accumulate points with the standard Volare rules. In case of ticket sold by UX the points will accumulate based on the distance flown. Accumulation applies to flights made on or after June 22, 2023, for all tickets sold and flown aboard UX flights.
ITA continues to be generous in terms of bonuses and to the standard accumulation table, it provides that for all flights sold directly by Air Europa, Volare Members will also have the Club membership multipliers: Plus +10%; Premium +20%; Executive + 30%;

In conclusion
Air Europa and ITA allow, their respective frequent flyers to accumulate points when they fly aboard codeshare flights and beyond. For those heading to South America, where Air Europa is very strong, a stopover in Barcelona or Madrid could mean a very significant accumulation of points for the same cost incurred to purchase the ticket. Now we wait for all the other partners to fall completely in love with Volare.
