The low-cost airline today announced the WIZZ Discount Club Light, a new loyalty program that offers exclusive discounts to customers on board.
Available in the Wizz Air app e online, WIZZ Discount Club Light offers a number of deals, including special on-board coupons e WIZZ Café and Boutique promotions.
Customers can sign up for WIZZ Discount Club Light without paying any fees. Those who already have a WIZZ Discount Club Standard or Group membership will automatically receive WIZZ Discount Club Light offers in addition to their existing membership.
The new program aims to increase customer engagement with unique discounts, such as special purchases on discounts, perfumes or beverages. Offers may vary depending on flights.
Zsuzsa Trubek, Corporate Communications Manager of Wizz Air, said, "WIZZ Discount Club Light is another way our customers can save money when they choose to fly with WIZZ. The discounts exclusive will offer, a anyone who flies with us, big savings on food and products on board. We are pleased to offer this new program, which is in line with our ultra-low-cost model."
In terms of benefits, judging from the page on the company's website, it talks about discounts on onboard expenses and/or extras during boarding. Little stuff, but being free there is no reason not to be subscribed.
