The Air India of the future will be a profoundly different company from the current one, and after ordering hundreds of planes it was time to present itself to the world with a new image, fresher and more modern than the current one.
Air India's newest livery and aircraft design will focus on strong colors such as deep red, eggplant and gold, as well as a chakra-inspired motif. And to make itself even more unique, it has created, from scratch, a custom "Air India Sans" font.
All this enormous effort is being made to position itself in the premium sector, leaving behind the label of one of the world's worst flag carriers. On debut, it should be remembered, there is still a long way to go as the completely new long-haul fleet that will fly by the end of 2026.
The Tata group and the new Air India
Air India, is an airline owned by Tata Group., or the most powerful and wealthy industrial group in the entire country.

The new look reinvents the iconic Indian window shape, historically used by Air India, in a golden frame that becomes central to the new brand design system, symbolizing a "Window of Possibilities" creating an extraordinary brand design for a premium global airline with an Indian heart.
To relaunch the new company there was a need to make a definitive break with the past, now all the ingredients are there, the only problem will be educating passengers that they can no longer cook in economy or board with food prepared at home by Grandma Rja.
