Boston's new Delta SkyClub looks like the deck of a sailing ship

Delta is continuing to invest large sums of money to make travel more enjoyable to its customers, not necessarily the most loyal ones since lounge access is no longer recognized as a status benefit, but decided based on the route and whether or not you have a credit card. Details aside, it is good to see after T4 at JFK A new lounge open its doors to travelers.

The E Concourse Club can accommodate more than 400 guests and overlooks the famous Boston Harbor. This SkyClub is in addition to the two in Concourse A, coming to be able to accommodate more than 1,000 passengers at once.

The lounge design is inspired by the famous harbor, incorporating colors and textures reminiscent of Boston's nautical history, offering sweeping views of the historic harbor and a 21st-century skyline. The faux weathered wood trim of a ship is designed to give customers the feeling of being aboard a classic sailing ship. The Club's shape also mimics the curvature of a sailboat; its elongated profile complements the building's architecture and is divided by wood and metal arches that transform the expansive square footage into intimate and inviting spaces. A soothing color palette with accents of navy blue, teal, and terracotta are inspired by the distinctive bricks of Boston's skyline, paired with a fading sunset over the jewel-toned harbor.

Perhaps the most eye-catching element of Delta's newest Sky Club at Boston-Logan Airport is the premium bar, which features a champagne-colored layered mesh ceiling overhang and a striking backlit beverage display.

Lounge guests will enjoy the high-quality food and beverages that Delta Sky Club patrons have come to know and love. In addition to the seasonal selection of fresh produce served at the buffet, the BOS-E Club will serve regional specialties such as New England shellfish soup and Boston's Necco candy wafers.

The lounge has a variety of seating, including six soundproofed phone booths, to accommodate guests who wish to work, socialize, or simply admire the view. The club's restrooms have been optimized for guest comfort and privacy and include a family room and five shower suites. In addition, this space was designed with sustainability in mind.
