Corendon Airlines will start flying between Amsterdam and Curaçao from November 2023, using an Airbus A350-900, 432 seats in all-economy configuration, i.e., where every seat is the same.
Corendon is a Dutch company that specializes in charter flights and scheduled destinations to tourist locations, and with this new route the company has decided to reserve an area of the plane reserved for adults.
The decision then is to dedicate the front of the A350 to passengers over 16 years old. The section between door 1 and 2 of Airbus' flagship will be reserved solely for passengers who want to travel quietly. This is a total of 102 seats, including nine seats with extra legroom, i.e., those near the emergency exits, and 93 standard seats.
Obviously those who decide to sit in these seats will have to pay extra, on the contrary those who decide not to pay will be mathematically certain to sit in an area full of children. You will then have the option of paying 45 euros one way, extra which rises to 100€ if you want to opt for the extra-space seats.
