5 things that are always with me during my travels
From trolley to Bluetooth adapter, from Airalo's eSim to VPN without dmenticare credit card

Very often I get questions about what I take with me on my travels, tips on what to use when traveling and inquiries about this or that product/gadget that occasionally pops up in some of my videos or reviews on this site.
In this article:
I often notice in the content of many bloggers/influencers' shopping tips, but I personally don't feel comfortable talking about things that I don't then use in my routine just because I can earn a few euros through links. Today, however, I am answering the most frequently asked questions about 5 products/services that I use on virtually every trip and yes, if you decide to use/buy them you help this site grow (and in return you very often get a discount).
Level8 Aluminum Trolley
Since the beginning of summer, I decided to buy some Level8 products, a dimanic company in the suitcase industry. In the videos and reviews I have shown two products that I use often.
Did you get your flight cancelled, miss your connection, land late?
You could get up to 600€ compensation per person
The aluminum trolley is now my faithful travel companion, included in the kit is sold with the internal organizer, which is a real boon for keeping one half of the suitcase tidy and saving space, and which I recommend buying regardless of the aluminum trolley.
Not only is it beautiful, but it has a human price. It is not from the most fashionable brand and it will not help to flex on instagram, but I like to spend as little as possible and get the most out of it, so if I can get an equally good product at 1/5 the cost of the same branded product, that's perfect. After trying it in person, I asked the manufacturer to make a deal with TFC and so readers shopping and use TFC10 as a coupon can save 10% on purchases..
Instead, for family trips we use the travel trunk, available in different colors and which we took yellow/black the reason is that when it pops up on the baggage claim belt, it is impossible to miss it and unlikely to be picked up "by mistake" by other passengers. Of course, it is also available in other colors, but in this wasp color it is really spacey.
We used it with Marika in our travel on all Emirates first class And it performed really well. Lightweight, sturdy, and perfect for a two-week vacation as a couple.
Bluetooth adapter for headphones
I've lost count of the amount of times I've been asked the name of this product featured in all the reviews on this site since day one, partly because I've been using it long before this site was born.
I use it on board airplanes, even when I travel business class, unless I am on state-of-the-art aircraft with Bluetooth connectivity built into the IFE. There are two models and the difference is the ability to connect one or two headsets simultaneously. I use the duo model, which allows you to watch the same movie together Connecting two headphones at the same time. The basic version, is cheaper, and allows only one headset to be hooked up at a time.
Of course, I don't have to say anything about my headphones, which are the Apple AirPods Max, but there are dozens of different products that are just as good.
Airalo eSim
Traveling and staying connected at all times is a must, no matter if you are traveling for leisure or business, staying without Google maps in the Tokyo subway, or in the worst streets of Caracas is a problem.
I have been using Airalo for 18 months or so, there are other eSim providers, but if I'm comfortable with a product I don't look if I can save 1€ and maybe regret it as soon as I activate the esim. It works perfectly, it has a card for every country in the world, Has an internal cashback system that rewards loyalty, it is super easy to use and besides having local sims it has regional ones. So if you hop from Thailand to Japan or Brazil to Argentina on the same trip you can avoid going crazy with the different carriers.
TFC readers can use two discount codes: TFC15 for the first discounted eSim of 15% or TFC10 for all subsequent transactions. In addition to the discount via coupon, cashback can be added up to 10% on the final price. In addition, there is also an internal "introduce a friend" promotion which allows you to get 3$ credit for each friend who uses the service.
Express VPN
On the plane, in the lounge, in the hotel or at the mall. In Italy or on the other side of the world, Express VPN is always active on all my devices. Security in transactions is important, not only when traveling. We are always looking for the wi-fi network to hook up to, but we don't know if we can trust the router and the provider, so using a VPN is perfect for making life complicated for those who want to steal our data. I don't think it saves money on flights, but it allows you to get into the bank when you are on the other side of the world, watch the games while you are in the sun in the Maldives, and not let the rest of the world know where we are.
They are subscribed to this provider for 7 years and never had a problem and so I'm happy to Have closed a deal that allows readers using TFC to save almost the 50% On the cost of the subscription.
My American Express Platinum
No matter whether you fly low-cost or business class, this credit card is by far the best credit card on the Italian market and it is not enough to have it on your virtual wallet, but you have to carry it with you all the time. The reason is. for some services, such as entry into Centurion lounges you have to physically show it. It also serves when it is not recognized electronically, so it is advisable to have it in your wallet, even in the event of an accident to cover expenses with high maximums that may not be handled by ApplePay.
Traveling without insurance is risky, although covid is a distant memory, but a small/large accident could require an advance of major expenses and not having a means of payment could add stress to stress. I also have it in the business for business expenses, and with the additional cards I also cover my employees' travels.

In conclusion
There are so many apps, services, tools that I use during my travels, but these 5 are the ones that are with me every day when I travel and when I'm out and about and I can say that they are "bum tested and recommended." Obviously if you decide to take them you will have an advantage and help TFC to grow further.
