We give space for all our readers to share their reviews of flights and sojourns around the world, and today we are happy to publish Alessandro's review of his first flight aboard Aeroitalia, a new Italian airline aboard which the bum Has not yet been able to fly. Here is his story:
Our first flight with this airline is a nice surprise: We depart from Milan-Linate airport to Olbia Costa Smeralda airport. A short flight then, lasting about one hour.
At the check-in at Linate airport we lose some time given the opening of only one counter, so we have to queue a bit before we can board our luggage. At the gate, on the other hand, boarding operations are quite fast and well coordinated. Boarding is not at the finger, but via a bus that takes us directly to the aircraft.
The welcome from the cabin crew is friendly: a smile has always been a great way to welcome. The flight attendants convey an elegant and professional image that goes well with the cleanliness of the cabin.
The service, for such a short flight, is also respectable: totally free, although there is no denying the restricted choice in beverages.
The care, attention, and empathy toward the customer also emerges when a girl sitting next to us, evidently tired, asks a steward for a glass of water and then collapses into sleep. The steward not only brings her what was asked by placing it on the coffee table, but also turns off her light while avoiding waking her up so as not to annoy her.
The space available for travelers is ample: we flew at the emergency wing exits, but other travelers also had ample legroom with comfortable leather seats.
We arrive at our destination 20 minutes early, accompanied by the bus to the air terminal.
