Attentive readers have often written to me asking. how come I never talked about the Miles&More program's point sales and the reason was simple because Lufthansa stopped selling points from its loyalty program for years, one of the few frequent flyers not to sell points to individuals.
Why M&M does not see(go) the points
Lufthansa, Austrian and Swiss queues.
The reason goes back to a dispute that ended up in court. German consumers had gone to court in Germany, complaining that the points they had bought had then expired without being able to be used. Therefore, Lufthansa had been practically forced to eliminate the option. A decision that prevented the company from collecting money and thus increasing revenues.
However, things changed during 2022 when Miles&More launched the first Bundle&Go, i.e., a package where the German loyalty program sells points (with a bonus) and other small benefits, so the issue highlighted in the lawsuit is avoided.

By going to the site you can see the promotion just launched. The promotion of 50% is really interesting also considering that excluding Of the new Gold Miles&More Mastercard and the 30k point bonus it is not super easy to accumulate points from the German loyalty program.
This is the best promotion I remember seeing so far From Lufthansa on the purchase of miles. Buying them for only 1.18 cents each could be an attractive deal.
There are 4 package sizes and in addition to the miles you have, as mentioned several mid-range benefits. 
Scaling bonuses if you wait to buy, here are the T&Cs in detail
- Members who purchase a bundle til 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 7, 2023 will receive a bonus Miles of 50%.
- Members who purchase a bundle between November 8, 2023 and 23:59 CET on November 30, 2023 will receive a 40% bonus miles.
- All Miles&More members can purchase a Bundle.
- The promotional offer does not apply to past transactions.
- After purchase, the Bundle cannot be refunded.
- Members can purchase one Bundle per transaction. With Bundle&Go it is possible to accumulate up to 250,000 Miles per calendar year. From 1/8 to 12/31/2023, the limit was increased to 500,000 Miles accumulated.
- Bonus Miles do not count toward the annual limit. Bonus Miles do not count toward the annual limit.
- Miles accumulated with the Bundle will be credited within 5 business days.
- Bundles are subject to the standard terms and conditions of Points and the regulations of the Miles & More program.
- The Hotels & Cars bonus, Avis discount, and Priority Pass discount are limited to one use per Bundle purchase.
- All charges for purchases and related processing fees charged by Points.com Inc. will appear with the description "Bundles by PTS - M&M" on your credit card statement.

The best way to use this bonus
The holy grail is definitely Lufthansa and Swiss first class, two world top products, although the new cabins do not yet have an official delivery date, they will come sooner or later, and having the points in your pocket ready to be used is definitely a good strategy.
The problem is that Lufthansa Miles & More charges incredibly high fuel surcharges, which greatly limits the value of the miles, but for a biz or first ticket it can still be a great redemption.
