Lufthansa already has a lounge in Milan, the lounge is inside terminal 1 of Malpensa Airport, and welcomes passengers of group and Star Alliance airlines departing from the Varese airport. Today, however, I visited the new creature, a pop-up lounge in the middle of the city center.
A format for reconciling work e pleasure. It is the Workation Lounge by Lufthansa Group, open to the public in Milan at Piazza Elsa Morante in CityLife Nov. 14-18. Workation Lounge is the first office immersive pop-up by Lufthansa Group, designed to meet the needs of professionals who wish to attend unusual places during their work commitments: a fully equipped mobile unit that features a spacious coworking, a fully equipped meeting room, a cozy networking area and a rooftop terrace.
These are flexible spaces that encourage interaction, a visual concept of impact dedicated to exotic places: not simply a project for the community, but rather the company's desire to be a firsthand agent of change in recognizing new trends in the business travel and in supporting companies wishing to implement welfare and work-life balance measures by offering its air mobility services worldwide.
