Marriott has announced the opening of The St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, Tamuda Bay, marking the St.Regis brand debut in Morocco. St. Regis is the most luxurious sign in the Marriott portfolio along with The Ritz Carlton.

The new structure
Built as a private riad, the resort exudes Moroccan charm and pays homage to the area's Andalusian cultural heritage. The design echoes the archetypal white local architecture and coastal environment. Local crafts are celebrated with intricate metalwork, mosaic zellige tiles, and tadelakt-style textures. The curated collection of works created by local artists takes guests back to nearby Tetouan, hailed by UNESCO as Morocco's best-preserved medina with its seven gates, the Rif Mountains and fascinating coastal landscapes, including the enigmatic Caves of Hercules.
The St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, Tamuda Bay offers. 83 rooms and 17 suites from 32 square meters, all with private balconies overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, including a Presidential Suite. The elegantly designed rooms offer a place to relax in the comfort typical of the St. Regis brand. All hotel guests can take advantage of the distinctive butler service that has distinguished the St. Regis brand for more than a century and features personalized offerings, such as garment ironing and wrapping services.

The rooms are already bookable and the price of this hotel is definitely among the lowest of all St Regis hotels in the world. Four restaurants and a spa
The resort's gastronomic offerings include the Baie Blanche Brasserie, a contemporary French brasserie with Moroccan influences and a seafood menu. The combination of white and green for the interior palette creates a serene and inviting atmosphere, echoing the typical botanical-inspired landscape just beyond the windows. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, as well as spaces for private and semi-private dining.
The Bahia Vista Beach Bar & Grill, an elegant beachfront grill, serves fresh daily seafood prepared by the resort's chefs in the open kitchen and on the Josper grill. The menu also offers a wide selection of sushi prepared by the resort's two sushi masters. Sunlit circular areas provide an ideal setting to enjoy an aperitif, while the two secluded tables overlooking the Mediterranean Sea create a unique setting for an intimate and romantic dining experience.
The iconic St. Regis Bar, inspired by the King Cole Bar at the St. Regis New York, features a curated menu of classic cocktails expertly crafted by the resort's mixologists and a reimagining of the signature St. Regis version of Bloody Mary, infused with Moroccan flavors.
La Library offers a quiet corner to enjoy a local-style variation of the acclaimed St. Regis Afternoon Tea. At sunset, in the Grand Hall Garden the customary St. Regis champagne ritual is held to celebrate the transition from day to night.
In addition to the equipment room, The St. Regis Spa offers an oasis of tranquility and rejuvenation to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit. The five treatment rooms, including a suite for couples, are named to celebrate Berber women and their wellness traditions.
