Review Concordia Lounge, Denpasar Bali airport domesitco terminal

Bali International Airport has two terminals.

One dedicated to domestic flights and the second for international flights. This lounge is the only independent waiting room in the domestic terminal. The alternative is Garuda Indonesia's official lounge, but although the airline is a Skyteam member, it does not allow access to elite passengers flying to domestic destinations in economy.

Location

It is located near Gate 2, passing security is on the opposite side from where Starbucks, the Hard Rock shop, and Pizza Hut are located.

Beware of a fake entrance that is on the opposite side of the lounge, there is a logo and it is a door, but it is not the entrance.

Access

Given the amount of license plates on the counter, access is possible with an infinity of cards, Priority Pass included. Be American Express Platinum cardholders guarantees to a family to be able to enter 4 all network lounges for free and without any restrictions.

Traveling in economy, but with a Priority Pass in your wallet equals saving money, traveling less stressed and much more comfortable.

One will not have to go crazy looking for a bango, a power outlet, something to eat before the flight, and a couple of drinks to take on board, since in economy and with low-cost airlines the service is nonexistent or for a fee.

The hall

It has no view , but is bright thanks to glass tiles in the upper part of the ceiling. Ceiling that is by far the prettiest thing aesthetically about the lounge along with the mega mural.

I have no idea if this Balinese fresco was meant for a children's area, but it really makes the inner, busiest area of the lounge look nice.

There are two "VIP" lounges and lots of seating, mostly small sofas with small tables. To wait for our flight to Jakarta it was more than enough.

Very nice also the halloween atmosphere, although to me it seems that the holiday we are not (yet) very famous in this nation.

Food & Beverage

The offer was really important, considering the level of the lounge. Of course, those who do not appreciate local flavors may be disappointed, But there was really everything here.

Many local dishes, various snacks, and a mixed hot and cold offering. Really a lot compared to many other waiting rooms at much busier airports and considering that this is, as mentioned, the termianl of local flights. However, one should not forget that the population in Indonesia is 200M and they move quite a bit from island to island by plane.

In conclusion

I thought much worse and instead great product, courteous staff and very plentiful food offerings. It softened me after the nasty surprise of not getting into the Garuda Indonesia lounge
