London Heathrow Airport has conquered the the first place as the most internationally connected airport in the world, this means that it is the stopover with the most routes n arrival or departure to a non-domestic destination. If a company flies intercontinental in 99.9% of cases it will fly into Heathrow. It doesn't matter if your name is Emirates, Singapore, or you are one of the three American sisters, flying to and from London is the golden goose for all non-European carriers.

Not for nothing London Heathrow is being flown by all the carriers that still have the A380 in their fleet (excluding Lufthansa), Qantas had a special version of the A350 made by Airbus to fly, nonstop from Sydney for what will be the world's longest flight and companies around the world are fighting for slots To fly into one of the five terminals.

This lounge Is located in the satellite of terminal 2, the one that almost all Star Alliance airlines use. The satellite can be reached by an underground walk of about ten minutes, but if you plan to pop in here just to get into Singapore, United or Air Canada lounges, with the Lufthansa ticket, you have to calculate the return time That not having treadmills will definitely be longer.

    Access

You only enter this lounge if you are traveling first class, either with Singapore or ANA. I just got in today with an ANA ticket, Gold status in the KrisFlyer loyalty program would not have been enough, here you only get in if you have the F printed on your ticket.

On the other hand, with a business class ticket from Lufthansa, Swiss or Lot you can still get in In the "normal" lounge the one that is also accessible to those with Gold StarAlliance status

    The Lounge

She is tiny, but it could not be otherwise. Singapore flies three times a day to London, at this time almost exclusively with the A380 and there are only 6 first seats per plane, a capacity of 50 people is even wasted.

I was inside almost 3 hours waiting for my flight to Tokyo, with ANA, and I was the only passenger almost the whole time.

The hall is divided into 2 rooms. The buffet area, with a restaurant configuration. Probably the best view of all the restaurants at London Heathrow.

And the relaxation area where there are different types of seating, I sat on the chair with a huge backrest, near the glass window. It's just too bad there wasn't much movement in the gates under the windows.

It could be summed up as small, but beautiful although it is nothing compared to what you will have once you board the plane.

    Food & Beverage

There is an a la carte menu, and here I fed myself with an Asian dish that is never missing from Singapore menus, of course accompanied by a glass of Laurant Perrier champagne, uncorked just for me. I then spoiled myself with a coffee affogato, non-alcoholic also because I did not want to spoil myself before the 14-hour flight aboard what is the third best airline in the world flying on the third best first class cabin in the world.

There is no real buffet, but on the other hand there is a respectable alcohol offering, especially there is a Gin selection to make the most exclusive gintoneries envious, but not forgetting that everything in here is free. I certainly could have guzzled a lot more, but I decided to leave room for what was in store for me in the evening.

    Services

There are toilets and showers, and little else. Sure there is nothing wow, but that is not even in the British Airways Concorde Room and at the moment the only jaw-dropping lounge in London is Virgin Atlantic's Clubhouse, one of the most inaccessible in the world.

    In conclusion

The lounge is elegant, clean and offers adequate service to the passengers who frequent it, it should not be forgotten that we are thousands of miles away from Singapore and it is already remarkable that SQ has decided to pamper its most important passengers with this lounge, which is not taken for granted and which not all carriers do away from the main hub.

    First Class Silverkris Lounge London
    The verdict
Small, exclusive and refined, these are the three adjectives that best sum up this lounge. You have to have one of the most exclusive tickets in the world to get in, so it will never be crowded and there will never be a line out the door, quite the contrary. Those who fly in F are hardly bums like me and therefore will not pitch their tents for hours inside, but will spend only the bare minimum.
