Summer 2023, Wizz Air carried over 33M passengers, including me
Popular destinations for Wizz Air's Italian customers this summer include Albania and Egypt, but also unusual destinations such as Armenia.

Wizz Air, announced that it has reached the Record figure of 33 million passengers carried in the summer season between April and September 2023. The results show significant growth for the European carrier, with passenger numbers up more than 24% over the previous summer.

In Italy, year after year, Wizz Air experienced further growth in passenger numbers, reaching a flight booking rate of 99.32% in September. Popular destinations for Italian customers this summer include Albania and Egypt, but also unusual destinations such as Armenia.
Following the excellent results, Wizz Air announced programming for summer 2024. Passengers can choose from domestic and international flights from Rome, Milan, Catania, Venice and Naples. The offerings range from Italian beauties such as Turin, Venice, Olbia, Lampedusa or Bologna, to popular European destinations of Nice (France), Tirana (Albania), Frankfurt Hahn (Germany) and London (UK), as well as new routes from Rome to Berlin, Hamburg (Germany), Alicante (Spain) and Denmark (Copenhagen), and from Milan to Paris (France) and Tenerife (Spain).
